The Seattle Humane Society placed Jack and his family in the care of Cindy Congdon, an experienced foster mother. He and his two brothers were only a week old, and his mother was overjoyed to have a secure environment in which to care for her children.
The small kittens are growing bigger by the day as the weeks pass…
and are gradually learning the ins and outs of being a cat.
Congdon was carrying Jack’s little body last week when he suddenly began to groom himself…
… and Congdon was more than willing to assist him as he learnt.
Jack appeared weary while he attempted grooming, and he most likely quit after a time to take a lengthy nap. The small cat is still getting the idea of grooming, but he did a very decent job on his first try, and his foster mom couldn’t be happier.
“As the weather heats up, many kittens, like Jack here, will need someone to hold them while they munch their feet and show off their belly button,” Congdon posted on Instagram.
Congdon frequently compares Jack to a small polar bear cub, and there’s no question he’ll just get cuter as he learns and grows with the aid of his amazing family.
