I’ve had a long day, the last thing I need is for a kitty to jump all over me. But here I am, and here she is, and here is the hugging.
This is very frustrating. What did I do to deserve this? I thought cats and dogs were supposed to hate each other?
Can we go back to that stereotype, please? Because I, for one, am woofin’ over this. It’s just hard to say no because she is so stinkin’ cute.
She asked me what I did today, and why I was gone so long. The short version is… a man in a white coat poked me with things (mom calls him the vet). But the long version is a bit different.
Basically, she loaded me into the car. I kinda felt like something was off. Every dog has a vet sensor, after all.
Then she drove me to this coffee shop that gives out fluffy cream for snacks for dogs (and that’s how I knew I was in big trouble).
The kitty hugged me even more after that! I was hoping that she would be scared of catching the vet disease but she wasn’t.
Okay, on with my story I guess.
Anyway, as I was saying… mom took me to get this treat and then we showed up to this big brick building, and oh my woofin gosh I was so scared.
The kitty must be getting scared just hearing this because she’s hugging me even tighter now.
I’m trying to walk away now, just talking about the vet gives me the shivers. But I guess if she’s really that invested in the story I’ll tell her.
Anyway, so as I was saying, the vet took me into this room. He was acting super nice and sweet, and he even had treats for me, but I am not a young pup anymore. I will not fall for these tricks!
Well, sort of. I kinda fell for the tricks. Okay, I did fall for them. But the treats were so good and he made me feel like such a good boy! Anyway, before I knew it, I had needles in my skin and a temperature thingy up my bum. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience.
Okay, you’ve heard the story, Whiskers. Time to let me go recover from this long, hard day in private.
No… I’m serious… get off…
